Key Enablers for Accelerating Investment in Plastics Circularity

In the lead-up to the INC-5.2, the fourth and final webinar in a series hosted by the Financing Coordination Group explored how supportive policies and institutions can create an enabling environment to accelerate investment in plastics circularity.

The webinar began with a brief recap of key insights from the first three webinars, as well as perspectives on the status of the financing provision following INC-5.1. The panel discussion that followed focused on key enablers for accelerating investment to address plastic pollution in various markets, including policy and infrastructure. Stakeholders from across the plastics value chain shared their perspectives on the opportunities these enablers create and the challenges that arise in their absence.
