The Circulate Initiative co-hosted a session titled “From Marginalized to Recognized: Responsible Sourcing Pathways and a Just Transition for Workers in Material Production and Recycling Supply Chains” with BBC Media Action, HomeNet International, and the International Alliance of Waste Pickers.

 

Responsible Sourcing Initiative’s Monitoring and Evaluation Lead, Santwana Sneha, moderated the segment on remediation and responsible sourcing pathways, featuring Narisa Siamchai (HP) and Swaroop K V R (Srichakra Polyplast). The discussion explored challenges faced by recyclers and brands in implementing responsible sourcing, opportunities for remediation, and key learnings from Responsible Sourcing Initiative projects in India and Viet Nam.
