Roundtable on Responsible Sourcing of Recycled Plastics

Hosted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in India and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) under the Resource Efficiency & Circular Economy Industry Coalition (RECEIC) Knowledge Series, this event brought together government, business, civil society, and informal waste worker representatives to explore how recycled plastics sourcing can be made practical, inclusive, and actionable.

Responsible Sourcing Initiative Director, Madhu Narayan, spoke virtually at the session titled “Responsible Sourcing: Tools, Trends, and Traceability” to share findings and learnings from the Responsible Sourcing Initiative aimed at strengthening traceability, promoting safe and decent working conditions, and facilitating environmental safeguards.
