Kunal supports the monitoring and evaluation and capacity-building efforts of the Responsible Sourcing Initiative, a multi-year program addressing human rights challenges in recycling value chains and advancing responsibly sourced recycled materials. He also supports coordination of the Responsible Sourcing Initiative Indonesia project.

With over five years of experience in research and consulting, Kunal has worked across various sectors, including gender and social inclusion, corporate social responsibility, and behavior change and communications.

Before joining The Circulate Initiative, Kunal served as Assistant Manager at MicroSave Consulting (MSC), where he led several large-scale, mixed-method research studies across India, Bangladesh, and Kenya. In this role, he was responsible for designing robust study methodologies for both formative and evaluation research, developing data collection tools, training and managing field teams, and conducting data analysis and dissemination.

Kunal holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Development and Environmental Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, India.
